More on the Japanese Cuisine
Yours truly back here on the topic of food! Today with a post on probably my most favourite type of cuisine and that is Japanese cuisine! More specifically, the Konichiwa restaurant located in the Baldwin village – it’s authentic Japanese cuisine was truly exquisite. I made my first visit here with my mother after a evening of studying and below are the selections made for dinner that night.
Shrimp Tempura Udon , a classic choice made by many customers such as myself. This dish offers an assortment of tempura, a side of salad and a beautiful bowl of hot, udon noodles topped with green onion and seaweed (in the picture, the miso soup was a compliment to the sashimi we also had that night)
Sashimi Dinner , to pair together with my mom. At the Konichiwa restaurant, personally I would not recommend ordering this dish, not because it doesnt taste good, but because the portions were quite small and the price to pay for it is, in my opinion, not worth it. However sashimi is food, and food alone brings joy regardless! It was a great variety of different sashimi and the pieces given were fresh, although a little bit fishy.
Overall, if you find yourself in the Baldwin village and feel like some Japanese food, Konichiwa is a good place to go, but just order the Shrimp Tempura Udon; it’s extremely quality and definitely is as authentic as it gets in Canada!
